We are saying goodbye to summer and slowly preparing for colder days. Getting on a sleep schedule seems to be critical after those long summer nights.
A few tips to reset your sleep cycle are:
1. Create a sleep sanctuary - remove any clutter, add some lavender to your bedside (candle, dried flower or essential oil), get a book to read instead of your phone laptop or TV, and DIM those lights!
2. Create a sleep routine - this could be a nighttime skin care routine, reading a book before bed, having a nice cup of tea, meditation or writing in a journal.
3. Set an alarm - this could help prepare you to wind down. Set it for 30 minutes before bed, turn on your 'do not disturb' on your phone and let your body wind down.
